What a weekend in Chicago! The temperature was 90 degrees and sunny. It was one last chance for a swim and a smoke before the nasty fall weather hits. I realize it is October, but my pool is still open and looking better than ever. After finishing a bunch household chores, I grabbed my swim trunks, cutter, lighter and the New Cuvee Blanc and went for a dip. The Saturday afternoon swim turned into a fireside cocktail party later that evening. Just a wonderful weekend all around and capped off with my New Cuvee Blanc by Cusano.

I am part of the CigarBeat Cigar Club, we are reviewing the Cuvee Blanc by Cusano. It is a new creation consisting of Dominican and Peruvian long fillers that are specially selected. Only one leaf out of every ten is chosen. It is then finished with a Cubanos Ecuadorian wrapper. I smoked the robusto which measures a standard 5 x 50. It had an even burn, smooth draw and held a nice size ash. This is a creamey smoke with hints of cedar and pepper which was a pleasure to the palate. It reminded me of the Pleiades Paris but a little more bolder both in taste and wallet. The Cuvee Blanc runs for $149.95 for a box of 24 or a 3-Pack for $18.75. These smokes are now available at CigarMonkey, Inc. These smokes were addicting as a fired two up on Saturday and another on Sunday.

In summary, this is a pretty damn good smoke. If you are looking for something new, fire one of these up.
