Cielo Poseidon

This week I was off to yet another sales meeting in Orlando. The meetings get annoying after five days of listening to bullshit, but several of my counterparts love to fire up cigars and it helps the week go by quickly. So, I loaded up my traveling humidor which can easily hold 25 smokes and headed to the airport. Before I left for my flight, I had just enough time to fire up a new smoke called the Cielo Poseidon. In short, this cigar started off my meetings with a phenomenal smoking experience.

The Cielo cigar line is exclusively made for the Corona Cigar Company, which ironically is located in Orlando. The Cielo is hand crafted in the town of Esteli, Nicaragua. It is a boxed pressed beauty wrapped in a dark, oily Ecuadorian Vintage Sun-Grown wrapper. The binder and fillers are made of tobaccos from three regions of Nicaragua giving it a bold, complex taste of chocolate and carmel. Oh, so good! The construction was top notch with an easy draw and even burn. I smoked this one to the nub, which is a good indication the smoke is pretty damn good. I fired up the Poseidon, which measures the standard robusto size of 5 x 50. The Cielo Poseidon is priced at $99 for a box of 20.

I like this smoke for several reasons: It's new, the quality, taste, construction, and feel. Just a damn good smoke and a must try.
