Emilio Reyes - Dominican Republic Gold
This week has been brutal for many reasons; the sad part, it's only Wednesday. I do not want to bore you with my long sob story, but I have done a bit of traveling this week with no time to fire up. The first chance that I got to enjoy a good smoke was tonight when I got home the airport. I reached into my humidor and pulled out a Emilio Reyes Dominican Republic Gold Churchill.
The Emilio Reyes Dominican Republic Gold was the perfect choice. It was the right size (7 x 50) to calm my nerves from all the airport hassle. It was new to me giving me some excitement to wake me up from the day's events. It had a dark, oily appearance that was firm to the touch. This was a full-bodied smoke that helped me prepare for the second half of the week. The Emilio Reyes DRG is constructed with Dominican Cuban Seed and Nicaraguan long fillers and finished an aged Dominican wrapper. This special blend of tobaccos produced hints of spice and pepper. It was well constructed resulting in an even burn and a smooth draw. The DRG was an effortless experience requiring no re-lighting as I finished this cigar to the nub. To top it off, these churchills come in a box of 25 for $125. For five bucks a stick, it's another reason why the Emilio Reyes Dominican Republic Gold was a perfect choice.
