La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda Natural

As I was preparing for a phone interview with Chris from Cigar Alliance, I fired up a La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda. Cigar Alliance is celebrating their first year anniversary and I am proud to say, I have been listening to Chris since the first show. I had the privilege to appear on episode #10 and now on episode #26, which will be available on Thursday, August 11, 2008. If you have not had the chance to listen to one of his pod casts, you are missing something special. He usually reviews one cigar per show and gives the run down on the latest blogs, pod casts and cigar news. Chris has guest interviews ranging from aficionados, novice smokers, B&M owners, web page designers, etc. I find each show entertaining and most importantly resourceful. Keep up the good work Chris!

I highly recommend firing up the La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda Natural on a hot summer night. This medium-bodied delight is a well balanced blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco that is finished with a Connecticut wrapper. La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda Natural is creamy smooth with hints of nut. It is well constructed producing an easy light, even burn and an effortless draw.  However, I was unable to get a decent size ash on this stick averaging an inch per attempt.  This toro size smoke measures 6 x 52 and runs about $75 for a box of 25. But for three buck a stick, you can't beat it. If you can get these on a deal, buy a box and stock up your humidor with this pleasant tasting smoke. You will not be disappointed.
