Oliva Serie V Lancero
Yesterday I found myself on the banks of the Mississippi River in a small town called Le Claire, IA. It was a hot, steamy, bright summer day. The temperature was approaching 100 degrees with about 90 degrees humidity. To make matters worse, I was wearing a dark suit. After getting my teeth kicked in from a couple of sales calls, I pulled over my car and found some shade under a willow. I was near a small dock of boats and fired up an Oliva Serie V Lancero. It was the perfect place on earth to sit on the trunk of my car enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the mighty Mississippi.
Oliva Serie V Lancero is blended with Jalapa Valley Ligero tobacco from Nicaragua. It is then finished with an oily dark Nicaraguan Habano Sun Grown wrapper. This complex smoke is filled with outstanding flavor of coffee, spice and dark chocolate. The Serie V Lancero measures a skinny 7 x 38 giving you more opportunity to in enjoy the full flavor of the Habano wrapper. It is easy to light with delicate draw. I was unable to maintain a decent size ash and the skinny little stick went out on me a couple of times. However, the taste of the smoke overshadowed any effort it took to keep lit. In the end, it was perfect choice for this hot, steamy summer day. The Oliva Serie V Lancero comes in a box of 36 for $145. I will definitely smoke another and perhaps buy a box to stock my personal humidor. They are not bad and worthy of a try.

Dan, that sounds like a time to just relax. I have pulled over a couple times just to take it all in too. And what a cigar to relax with. It wasn't to hot for you with that cigar? I can barely stand 100 degree weather, especially down by the rive where it is 90+ humidity.
