Arganese Pre-Release ML3

I want to thank Mrs. Monkey for putting up with me for all these years. Over the weekend we celebrated our 11th Anniversary with a group of friends. We went to the Brookfield Zoo to celebrate the occasion. Each year the zoo has a dinner event called Nights in the Wild. It is a top notch event complete with an open bar and wonderful 4-star food. To make the night even more special, I pulled out my last pre-released Arganese ML3 which made the night perfect.

Gene Arganese just released a couple of new additions to his ever growing line of cigars. Last month, I reviewed the Arganese Pre-Release CL3 which is one powerful little smoke. It's sister stick is called the ML3 (Maduro Ligero to the 3rd power), which is much lighter and sweeter. The Arganese ML3 is blended with triple Ligero tobacco. It uses Dominican Maduro Ligero for both filler and binder. It is then finished with a dark, oily Brazilian Maduro Ligero wrapper. This combination of tobacco produces a rich flavor of caramel and espresso. It was the perfect compliment to my roasted pork and South African Pinotage. I fired up the robusto which measures a standard 5 x 50. As with all Arganese cigars, the construction was flawless. It lit easily and maintained an even burn all the way to the nub. It was able to hold a two inch as before dropping into my lap. The ML3 comes in a box of 20 for around $98. If you are looking for something new, you must try Gene Arganese's newest creation, the ML3. It will not disappoint.

This is a perfect after dinner smoke. I liked it so much that I will be bringing in the churchill size to CigarMonkey, Inc. I hate to say it, but I need some for the upcoming winter holidays!
